PRESS RELEASE –The Managements of Courts St. Lucia Ltd and Sea Island Cotton Shop both signed industrial agreements this week with the National Workers Union (NWU) at the Department of Labour.
The industrial packages establish revised wage structures, adjustments and a regime of upgraded fringe benefits. Both agreements will run for a period of three (3) years. In the case of Courts St. Lucia Ltd, provisions are also enshrined for retroactive payments.
The NWU is of the opinion that workers will continue to work diligently towards maximizing productivity.
