PRESS RELEASE – A one week Spay and Neuter campaign organized by the Toco Foundation, the Canadian Animal Assistance Team and HelpAWS is receiving support from Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa.
The campaign which got on the way today, 4th, April, 2016 is geared at treating stray cats and dogs in the southern part of the island. Apart from spay and neuter activities, the campaign will also engage in the treatment of animals which are sick and diseased.
In support of this initiative Coconut Bay is providing accommodation and meals for a team of sixteen (16) volunteers associated with the campaign. The accommodation provided by Coconut Bay will make it possible for the team to conduct this campaign in a more effective and efficient manner.
The team of volunteers will be engaged during the week in community outreach activity as well as conducting daily clinics from Monday, April 4th to Thursday 7th, April, 2016.
The clinics will be staged downstairs Lab Services next to Builders Choice in the Beanefield area.
