PRESS RELEASE - Community development organizations, service clubs, schools, charitable organizations and other non-profit organizations in the Micoud to Dennery Area (Zone C) and Gros Islet (Zone D) are being reminded to submit projects for funding under the Super J IGA Unity in Community Programme.
During the month of September, the company expects to donate $10,000 each to two community projects within the two zones.
Super J IGA Unity in Community is a Programme created to mark CFL’s tenth anniversary. It is designed to allow the company to continue to extend meaningful support to communities and social change across St. Lucia. The deadline for submission of proposals for the two zones is August 4, 2014.
To date, two projects have been funded under this programme; the refurbishment of the Anse La Raye Parish Hall (complete with a ramp at the location for the disabled) and the reestablishment of the Mongouge Community library.
