Digicel, on Thursday, April 4, 2014, decided to return the favour when this extraordinary customer received an early birthday gift. A surprise phone call on Radio Caribbean International from Digicel’s Sergin John Baptiste informing her that she was Digicel’s latest winner of the March “Text to Win” promotion had her all in smiles and a little tongue-tied.
Winning herself $1,000 in cash along with a fifth generation full-sized iPad tablet which measures 7.5 millimetres thin and weighs just 469 grams, is the lightest slate of its size. Its screen is a 9.7-inch Retina Display with oleophobic coating and resolution of 1536 by 2048 pixels. The iPad Air is two times faster than its predecessor and has a 5MP iSight camera and front-facing snapper, which is ideal for video chats and self-portraits.
Marjorie will be able to connect with all her friends, family and customers with ease now with her new tablet.
Celebrating her birthday one day later, she was ecstatic about winning her prize.
“Oh my I can’t believe this is happening to me. I am so happy to have won this big prize from Digicel, especially as it’s my birthday in a few weeks. I have been a loyal customer with Digicel for a long time and I am happy to finally be a winner with them,” said Marjorie.
