Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) in collaboration with the Trade Export Promotion Agency (TEPA) will be hosting a training workshop on Market Intelligence scheduled for Friday, April 4, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Palm Haven Hotel.
The exercise is geared towards assisting private sector firms that are exporting or are export-ready to develop markets briefs for specific products towards targeted market entry.
The objective of the training workshop is to:
provide participants with an understanding of Market Intelligence and an introduction to the Export Market Brief
deliver practical training on how to complete the market brief with information relevant to market intelligence needs
identify the relevant data sources for export market information and provide a demonstration on the use of these platforms
The training will be facilitated by the Market Intelligence Team of Caribbean Export: Alana Rielly – Research Officer, Market Zamandi Moodie – Advisor, Market Intelligence, Sheldon Jackman – Advisor, Market Intelligence, and Anthony John – Project Officer, Trade Export Promotion Agency.
Key areas of focus will include an illustration on how to prepare the market brief, examples of Market Intelligence Information sources and the various tools to accessing this information.
