St. Lucians searching for ‘a better life’ can now apply for financial assistance from Heavy Equipment Academy

(PRESS RELEASE) – Skilled Heavy Equipment Operators continue to be in high demand and with HEA’s Aspirers program; untrained men and women have the opportunity to begin profitable careers; thereby creating financial security and overall better standard of living for themselves and family.

Successful candidates will be fully competent in the operation and maintenance of a Heavy Duty Machine and will receive a Level 2 – CVQ certification; enabling them to gain employment throughout the Caricom region.

Men and Women between the ages of 16 and 35, are invited to apply for a chance at a full scholarship to this program valued at $15,000 in the Aspirers Video Contest. HEA is seeking highly driven young people who are ready to work hard to change their lives.

Interested persons must submit an application to the academy in addition to a personal video statement. In the video, participants must describe what an opportunity to become a certified professional operator at HEA means to them; describing their current financial hardships, and how their lives will change for the better, because of Heavy Equipment
Academy. Participants must be sure to use the name of the school and the motto: “Pogwe pa lesisyon” in their video. The video must not exceed 3 minutes and can be shot from a cell phone. Deadline for submission is Jan 3rd, 2020.

Heavy Equipment Academy is a training institution offering certification programs in a variety of Heavy Duty Machines. Successful students of our Aspirers program will also receive internships providing valuable networking and employment opportunities as well as some other employment assistance.
