PRESS RELEASE - The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture will be hosting July’s Executive Luncheon at the Golden Palm Events Center- Rodney Bay on July 29.
The speaker is Ambassador Luis Manuel Lopez Moreno of the Mexican Embassy.
Ambassador Moreno is keen to improve the relationship between St. Lucia and Mexico.
Earlier this year the Mexican Government made a substantial financial contribution to the completion of the St. Jude’s Hospital, in addition to that the Government of Mexico is now offering a number of scholarships to St. Lucian students to study in Mexico.
Ambassador Moreno in his presentation will seek to give St. Lucian businessmen and policy makers a better perspective and appreciation of the huge potential partner in trade and development Mexico is.
Mexico has also taken keen interest in working more closely and engaging the Caribbean and as such in September 2015 a Caribbean Mexico Business Forum will be held which will seek to bring these two regions closer together to explore the natural connectivity which is provided by the Caribbean Sea, to explore how trade, investment and business between our regions can be developed.
