The Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa has embarked on a Cocoland Cares programme – an initiative which will see the distribution of donation packages and other support for early childhood education institutions on the island.
Cocoland Cares has been described as a major national initiative which involves significant investment in the early childhood learning sector.
Donation packages will include high quality learning material “designed to stimulate and support literacy and language development”.
Cocoland Cares has been dubbed as a firm commitment by the owners of the hotel and will be an annual undertaking.
It is being launched today, April 8, 2014 at the Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa.
Minister of Education Robert Lewis is expected to address that gathering.
