Bank of Saint Lucia International Limited (BOSLIL) is celebrating 10 years of growth and service excellence in international banking.
BOSLIL, the international banking subsidiary of the ECFH Group, provides globally competitive products and services to international clientele. BOSLIL offers its clients a very conservative banking model designed to meet their international commercial needs while paying significant attention to a high level of personalised service. “Excellent service by global standards” being one of our main priorities.
BOSLIL created history as the first indigenous institution focused exclusively on offering international banking services from St. Lucia. Since those early beginnings, it has become the flagship entity for the international financial services sector in St. Lucia, and has been instrumental in promoting and growing the jurisdiction internationally during the last 10 years.
In 2004, BOSLIL’s asset base totaled US$3.072 million. At the end of 2013, BOSLIL’s total assets stood at US$372 million. This was achieved under the leadership of CEO Ryan Devaux and the Board of Directors led by Marius St. Rose.
BOSLIL formally opened its doors on March 30, 2004 in Rodney Bay, with a staff complement of 9. Since then, BOSLIL has grown to 34 staff serving over 2400 international clients with the company’s major markets being Asia, Europe and South America. The Bank has an office in Uruguay and is currently working on establishing its presence in Panama.
In 2013, Bank of Saint Lucia International Limited captured the Service Exporter of the Year Award at the St. Lucia Business Awards organized by the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce.
CEO Ryan Devaux attributes BOSLIL’s success to the strength of the BOSLIL team and having a focus on service, efficiency, innovation, adaptability and being very focused on our niche markets. He said: “Over the past 10 years, we have developed a culture focused on continuous improvement and efficiency in service delivery and the provision of personalised banking services. We are continuously exploring new avenues to serve our clients better and to explore new markets.”

A series of activities have been planned over the next month to celebrate BOSLIL’s 10th Anniversary under the theme ‘A Decade of Banking Service Across Borders and Beyond Expectations.’
The BOSLIL team looks forward to the next 10 years with great optimism and is committed to ensuring that the bank continues to contribute to the development of the international financial services sector here in St. Lucia and to continue promoting St. Lucia as an excellent location from which and with which to do business.
