Minister for Tourism, Heritage and the Creative Industries, Hon. Lorne Theophilus Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina’s “preview” evening reception for the hotel, January 28th, 2014
Capella Hotels and Resorts hosted a few influential Saint Lucians and government officials at its Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina on January 28 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm to “preview” enhancement plans for the hotel.
During the evening’s reception, guests were introduced to these plans which included details on new restaurants, bars and other “innovative” ideas for the Marina and Marina Village which will all be completed by this summer. In the meantime, the hotel remains fully operational and open for business.
Acting Prime Minister, Philip J. Pierre and Minister for Tourism, Heritage and the Creative Industries, Lorne Theophilus was present at the gathering. The host was Horst Schulze, Hotelier, CEO and Chairman of Capella Hotels and Resorts, and Jeroen Quint, the General Manager for the hotel.
The award-winning hotelier, who has opened luxury hotels across the globe, had delivered a motivational speech to the faculties of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College’s Division of Hospitality on January 29, 2014. There, before a full audience of hospitality students, Schulze had talked about his humble beginnings before becoming one of the hospitality industry’s noted hotel innovators.
