(PRESS RELEASE) – The Alliance Française de Sainte Lucie will host a press briefing later this month.
The briefing will inform on IFLE CARICOM, a regional programme for cooperation in education, culture and entrepreneurship, launched in 2019. The programme was designed to contribute to CARICOM’s ambitions toward the affirmation of a collective identity, the development of trade, the promotion of intra-regional mobility and an increased openness of the region to the world.
The Alliance Française will also take the opportunity to present the events planned for the coming in the year 2020, not only in Alliance Française Saint Lucia but also in the other Alliances Françaises of the CARICOM network.
The global network of Alliances Françaises promotes Francophone values, plurilingualism and cultural diversity. In the CARICOM region, it is a network of ten cultural and language organizations. Its aim is to provide free access to quality higher education and vocational training for everyone, to develop the exchanges, and to promote all the regional cultures and languages.
The press briefing at the Alliance Française de Sainte Lucie (the Pyramid), will be held on Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. A choice of specialties from France such as crêpes (February is the month of crêpes in France, a culinary tradition very dear to French people) and refreshments will be available.
