(PRESS RELEASE) — Corina Richelieu of Carellie is the winner of a brand new Hyundai Creta SUV in the SNL “Driven to Win” Christmas promotion.
The announcement was made after the official draw which took place at Beachcomber on Friday, January 19, 2019.
During the months of November and December, players participated in SNL’s Christmas Promotion “Driven to Win” which provided opportunities to win hams, wines and of course, a vehicle. Player participation was at an all-time high and the buzz quickly spread throughout the island; just about everyone wanted to win the SUV.
Corina, who was skeptical about her chances to win, was encouraged by her mom to participate, and eventually filled in her entries. Lady luck certainly bestowed ample winning sparkles, because not only did Corina win the SUV, but she also won five of six numbers with Super 6, plus walked away with cash from the popular 1-1-9 number on Lucky 3. How’s that for a skeptic? After much convincing she finally believed she was the winner and that was when the excitement and overwhelming feeling engulfed her, understandably so of course.
The day for the grand handover was finally here. Corina Richelieu received her keys to her brand new Hyundai Creta, coupled with a $2,000 E-Fuel Card, plus insurance paid for an entire year.
When asked to share a few words of encouragement to the public, Corina excitedly responded: “You’ve got to be in it to win it, PA 11 is no more (jokingly referring to the fact the she walked) it’s now PL 5063.”
She also went on to express how overwhelmed and excited she was, and displayed that feeling by tooting her horn so everyone could also feel her excitement.
