(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Managements of FirstCaribbean International Bank, Windward & Leeward Brewery Limited, Ti Kaye Resort & Spa and A. S. Maraj & Company Ltd. affixed their signatures to industrial agreements negotiated between the said companies and the National Workers Union (NWU). The brief official ceremony was held at the Department of Labour this week.
The industrial packages which will run for three (3) year terms make provisions for upward restructuring in wages, back pay and a revised regime of industrial concessions that would create a healthy working environment that could drive productivity.
All the company officials involved expressed their appreciation and satisfaction, during the signing, at cultivating an industrial relationship based on fairness and respect for industrial relations principles. They also gave the commitment to have the industrial accords implemented without further delay.
