Stag invades the HTS Newsroom

(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Last week, STAG BEER one of the products from the Carib Brewery Line, distributed by Peter & Company Distribution (PCD), took its story to the media here in Saint Lucia.

Brand Manager of Stag Beer Germaine Serieux, visited several media houses, during a Stag Media Blitz, thanking members of the local media for their continued support along the journey.

Stag buckets with products were also presented to members of the media fraternity, as the brand manager interfaced with media practitioners, providing background information on the product and gaging their feedback.

Last week’s Stag Media Blitz was also an opportunity to unveil Stag Beer’s latest campaign “The Stories Men Tell.”

Stag Beer, which is originally brewed in Trinidad & Tobago, has carried the tag line “A Man’s Beer,” for several decades now. And, with this new campaign consumers are encouraged to “pour on their stories” via social media as they share their interesting ditties revealed while enjoying Stag Beer of course.

Themes will be posted via Stag Saint Lucia Facebook and Instagram and just by sharing five stories on the topic one can become a winner.

This weekend, Stag Beer will engage consumers directly with this campaign by hosting “Dream Weekend.” The free Easter weekend event will run from March 31 to April 1 at the Rudy John Beach in Laborie and will feature DJ Lucky, DJ Mikey, DJ Yellow, DJ License and Goldfinger. “Dennery Segment” artistes Freezy, Blackboy and Ti Camo as well as Kisha will also be performing. Dream Weekend will also include fun beach contests as well as Stag giveaways.

According to Germaine Serieux, since the acquisition of the Carib Brewery Line (CBL) of products by PCD in June of 2017, the support in Saint Lucia has been quite encouraging. Besides Stag Beer, CBL products include Royal Stout, Mackeson, Smalta, Carib Shandy, Ginseng Up and Carib Beer.

“It is almost a year now since we have been a part of this market and the consumers have really embraced us. So it is for this reason, we wanted to say thank you first to the media for their support and feedback and now to the public by staging “The Stories Men Tell” social media campaign and contests, as well as the free beach event this Easter Weekend in Laborie,” Serieux says.

Stag Beer is available at all major wholesalers including Total Auto in Cul De Sac, supermarkets, retail outlets island-wide as well as at several bars, restaurants and pubs.

Stag Lager Beer is 5.5% ABV and is described as having a distinct robust flavor, conveying elements of strength, individualism, passion, power and control. The Mode Selection gold medal winner also embraces the active consumer who is outgoing, is into sports and the outdoors and enjoys socializing.
