(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Water and Sewerage Company regrets to inform consumers of an interruption in the water supply which has been caused by a power outage in the Babonneau area.
The outage has affected the pumps at the Marquis and Talvan intakes which supply raw water to the Hill Twenty Treatment Plant.
As a result all systems at the Hill Twenty plant have been temporarily shut down until power is restored. The supply is expected to be restored later today March 28th 2018. However, residents at higher elevations will experience delays.
Wasco apologizes for the inconvenience caused due to the interruption.
