Christmas is coming early this year for dozens of the city’s less fortunate and vulnerable citizens.

LIME is partnering once again with Feed the Poor Ministries to provide over 100 persons with lunch comprising of three-course meals prepared by an acclaimed local chef. The luncheon will be held today at the Derek Walcott Square.

LIME Saint Lucia’s General Manager, Chris Williams and other members of the company’s senior management team will be on hand to welcome the guests and assist in serving the meals. They will also spend some time chatting and socialising with them.

Later this month, LIME teams will be visiting communities around the island offering Christmas hampers to more of Saint Lucia’s less fortunate citizens, including the elderly and shut-ins.

LIME customers and staff, and the general public are invited to assist by dropping off canned goods, books and toys at the company’s retail stores in specially marked boxes for distribution to the children’s homes and other charities.

“Every Christmas season we eagerly look forward to doing our bit to assist the less fortunate and vulnerable citizens among us,” said LIME Head of Marketing & Communications, Laurencia Cadette.

“We know what it means to an individual when the basic necessities of life are out of reach. We also know we can count on the overwhelming generosity of our customers and members of the public to help with Christmas donations this year.”
