PRESS RELEASE – Guinness St Lucia is proud to be a sponsor of Rise Up Reggae Festival which promises stellar performances from headliners Jah Cure and Sizzla, Guinness, which has long been recognized for its support of musical artistes and concerts, particularly in the dancehall and reggae genres, promises to present the brand at Rise Up in an innovative way.
“Being a brand that is distinctly made of more we have partnered with the coordinators of Rise Up as the official stout of the festival and will present patrons with the Guinness Black Lounge, which will allow them to interact with the brand much more intimately and leave them with a sense of what the brand stands for.” Said Rohan Lovence, Guinness St. Lucia Brand Manager..
Guinness has also began actively promoting the festival through its Thursday event, TGIT (Thank Guinness its Thursday) at Prudy’s Bar at Pigeon Island and Pier 28 in Soufriere. Patrons of the event have the opportunity to win passes to the Guinness Black Lounge along with cool Guinness merchandise.
Twenty-five lucky winners will be chosen to experience how Guinness is made of more at Rise Up, where one winner will receive the complete VIP experience which includes a pick-up by the Guinness entourage. Patrons also have the opportunity to win passes through Instagram, Facebook and radio stations including The Wave, Blazing FM and RCI, who have partnered with Guinness St Lucia to bring the promotion to life.

Rise Up Reggae Festival is slated to take place on April 16th 2017 at the Soufriere Stadium where local performers like DYP, Rob Zii and Meschach will perform alongside Jah Cure and Sizzla.
