PRESS RELEASE – A team of avid golfers will represent CIBC FirstCaribbean at the 20th Annual Independence Charity Golf Tournament scheduled for March 4th at the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club in Cap Estate.
The tournament is organized by the Lions Club of Gros Islet. This year the main beneficiary of the tournament will be The “Kids-In-Sight” project, a project dedicated to ensuring access to free eye care to children who would otherwise not been able to afford such services. The project has been responsible for saving the sight of hundreds of children in St. Lucia over the last eleven years.
Soraya Warner-Gustave, Senior Corporate Manager, noted, “A core function of our operations at CIBC FirstCaribbean is being able to enhance and make a lasting impression on the lives of persons in our communities. This year we continue these efforts and remain particularly focused on impacting our young people, through donations and contributions to schools and organisations aimed at development.”
Representing CIBC FirstCaribbean at this weekend’s tournament will be Tim Mangal, Tiala Scott, Regis Gustave and Henix M Gustave.
