PRESS RELEASE – The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) wishes to inform its valued customers of extended operating hours at Port Castries and Port Vieux Fort during the impending Holiday Season.
The Castries Cargo Sheds 6 & 7 and Port Vieux Fort will be open on the following dates and times to facilitate the clearing and delivery of goods:
From 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday 17th December, 2016;
From 8:00a.m. – 7:00 p.m. December 19th to 23rd, 2016
From 8:00a.m. – 7:00 p.m. December 28th to 30th, 2016
And open during the lunch hour (12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.) from Monday, 12th December, 2016 until further notice.
Members of the general public are also asked to note that opening times are subject to change based on service demands.
To ensure that that the customer service experience is maintained, we urge customers that before coming to the Port; make certain that they received all documents from their agents and to ensure they bring along proper identification (driver’s license, ID Cards, etc) and to note that children under 12 years will not be allowed on the port compound. Customers have the option of contacting a broker to clear goods on their behalf or utilizing the Broker available at the Port.
