PRESS RELEASE – The Saltibus Credit Union was established in 1978 and has been a catalyst in community development, driving unemployment in the Choiseul – Saltibus community. The credit union joins the rest of the world in the celebration of International Credit Day on Thursday October, 20th 2016. The theme for this year’s observance is “THE AUTHENTIC DIFFERENCE”
The Saltibus credit union will mark this special occasion with a series of activities aimed at employee development and membership growth. On credit union day the Saltibus Credit Union will launch its ‘Going Green campaign’ and a new branding strategy.
On Thursday October 20th the credit union will host a member-appreciation day where all members will be treated and engaged in discussions on financial management and credit union philosophy and principles.
The credit union marks the occasion in conjunction with creole day celebrations. As such, it will adopt a creole theme for the observance of Credit Union Day. The Saltibus credit union has a membership of over four thousand and has realized asset growth of almost seven million dollars.
