PRESS RELEASE – The locally owned and operated resort chain, Bay Gardens Resorts, has rewarded Saint Lucian Sports Hero, Levern Spencer, with an all-inclusive weekend experience at the award winning Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa.
This reward is to honour her recent achievements at the 2016 Rio Olympics, in which she placed 6th in the High Jump competition, the highest placement for any athlete from the island. Bay Gardens Resorts continues to support Saint Lucian athletes who achieve great heights in their various sporting categories.

Leven Spencer recently placed 3rd in the 2016 Zagreb IAAF World Challenge, as well as earned a silver medal at the Van Damme/Brussels Memorial Diamond League, soaring over the bar at 1.93 meters. This marked the 18th time that the star high jumper has jumped 1.90m or higher this past season and her 13th medal overall. She was the first Saint Lucian to qualify for an Olympic Final this past year.
