PRESS RELEASE – Over the years, Consolidated Foods Limited (CFL) has sponsored generously and partnered with various organizations which uphold its core tenet of service. This time, the company sponsors the Rotaract Clubs of Saint Lucia with a monetary donation of EC $1500, and refreshments.
From June 16th-20th, the Rotaract Clubs of Saint Lucia will host the organization’s Annual District 7030 Conference under the theme: G.I.F.T.S – Grow, Innovate, Fellowship, Togetherness, Service. Rotaractors from all across the Caribbean will convene in Saint Lucia to be a part of this conference.
In addition to its monetary contribution and sponsorship of refreshments, CFL, through its Super J IGA Unity in Community Programme will partner with Rotaractors on Sunday June 19th on a community service project at the Dunnator School. There the team will be painting, reorganizing, cleaning and assisting with minor replacements of the workshop at the school. The focus will be on ensuring that students and teachers are better able to utilize the space during their work projects and skills training.
The District’s International Service Liaison Officer, Tzamarllah Haynes says “CFL’s $1500 dollar donation towards this Community Service project has gone a long
way in assisting the committee offset the cost of materials, accessories and other items needed for the completion of this project. We have no doubt that the volunteers will assist in bringing the project to a successful completion.”
CFL expresses delight in being a part of this initiative which has both local and regional involvement. The company remains committed to serving communities across Saint Lucia.
