PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture wishes to extend hearty congratulations Mr. Allen Chastanet and the United Workers Party on its victory at the June 6th 2016 polls.
More significantly, The Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Mr. Chastanet on his appointment as Prime Minister of St. Lucia and wish him God’s Blessings and Guidance as he moves forward and lead the country. The Chamber of Commerce also extends congratulations and best wishes to the entire Cabinet team.
The Chamber of Commerce looks forward to a cordial and productive working relationship with this new Government as we all seek to develop St. Lucia and improve the quality of life of all St. Lucians.
We stand prepared to play our part in a constructive manner as a partner in the development process and pledge to continue to represent the legitimate interests of our members and the wider private sector of St. Lucia.
The Chamber of Commerce has also requested a meeting with Mr. Chastanet at his earliest convenience to chart a way forward to strengthen Public/Private Sector partnership for national development.
