PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture in conjunction with the St. Lucia Youth Business Trust is once again offering to micro, small and medium sized enterprises on the island the “Mind Your Business” Development Series in “Costing and Pricing.”
The Mind Your Business development series seeks to provide critical business management skills and knowledge. The program, through a series of practical guidance workshops delivered by practicing professionals and experts will deliver the skills that participants can apply immediately in their business.
The objective is to help SMEs in an effective, high impact, low cost manner and make them operate more profitably and efficiently. Facilitators, mostly owners and operators of SME’s themselves, are all charging extremely low fees to ensure that the key skills and knowledge being offered through the development series remains within the reach of all SME’s on the island. This, they believe, will help SMEs grow and so impact positively on the employment situation and the wider economy.
The course will be facilitated by Mr. Benjamin Menald, a private consultant and lecturer for Monroe College’s MBA program, with over 30 years extensive experience in financial planning analysis, strategic planning and costing and pricing.
The course will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. from the 10th May 2016 to the 2nd June, 2016.
The venue is the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture’s Conference Room, on the 2nd floor of the American Drywall Building, Vide Boutielle, Castries.
