Cable and Wireless Business supports CTU Telecommunications Conference

f75f2130-dc7a-4f4d-a645-4876eaf01493PRESS RELEASE – C&W Business, the business-to-business unit of Cable & Wireless Communications partnered with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union and the Government of St Lucia for the hosting of a telecommunications conference last week.

The event which ran from March 14-18 at the Bay Gardens Resort was part of International Communications Technology Week activities and is being attended by delegates from across the globe, including heads of regional and international organizations, government ministers, commissioners of police, attorneys general, Directors of Public Prosecution and ICT personnel.

A major aim of the conference is to agree on a regional approach to cyber security. The delegates were also working to develop a comprehensive regional Cyber Security Action Plan and identify financing to implement it.
C&W Business provided the conference with complimentary Wi-Fi hotspot service capable of delivering high speed wireless internet for use by the delegates to email, connect, network and report on the event.
